Qingming: Gentle Breezes Stir Willows, All Things Renew
As spring breezes caress the willows and all life awakens, the Qingming Festival arrives—a time to cherish memories and honor ancestors, as well as a bright season for spring outings. On this special day that blends remembrance and vitality, FOSAN extends sincere festival greetings to all colleagues. May we honor our roots and live up to the beauty of spring.
Qingming Festival, also known as the Spring Outing Festival, Ancestor Worship Festival, or Third Month Festival, falls between April 4 and 6 each year. It is a traditional occasion for ancestor worship, tomb-sweeping, and memorial ceremonies.
Originating from ancient ancestral beliefs and spring ritual customs, Qingming embodies both natural and cultural significance. It is both a solar term and a traditional festival, and is recognized as one of China’s four major traditional festivals, along with the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival.
In accordance with the national statutory holiday arrangements and combined with the company’s actual operations, the 2026 Qingming Festival holiday arrangements are hereby announced as follows:
The Qingming season carries thoughts and reverence for ancestors, as well as enthusiasm for embracing spring. May we inherit family values through remembrance and gather strength in the warmth of spring, returning to work and life with fuller energy.
FOSAN stands side by side with every employee. Wishing you all peace, health and smooth blessings during the Qingming Festival!
